Dear Avondale Middle School Parents, Guardians, Students and Community Members, 

It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the 2024- 2025 school year at Avondale Middle School . At Avondale Middle School, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The staff at AMS understands the importance of the middle school years as part of the preparation for high school. 

Our committed educators understand that all students have different learning needs. It is for that reason that AMS incorporates instructional interventions that provide students with opportunities to be successful at their academic level, gaining a sense of confidence as they progress as learners.  

Throughout the year, your child will have the opportunity to explore new interests as part of the 21st Century grant program, develop meaningful friendships, and build upon their strengths. We believe in the importance of a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic achievement but also on social-emotional learning and character development.

Communication between home and school plays a vital role in your child's success. We are committed to keeping you informed about your child's progress, upcoming events, and important school updates. Weekly newsletters are sent home via email informing our families of the upcoming school events which will include dates for progress reports, report cards and parent teacher conferences.
